AD BOOK PROGRAM EXTENDED! - YEAR BOOK ADS ARE NOW DUE WITH ART WORK NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 26th! ADS CAN BE LEFT WITH AL BRASON, CATHY MARBACH OR WITH YOUR TEAM MANAGER... 

Youth sports are a very important part of a child's life. Team sports help the kids learn to work together, communicate with others, be part of a team, and most important, it teaches them that hard work is fulfilling. As we prepare for the upcoming ice hockey season, we are very excited about the opportunities that present themselves to our teams. Each of our teams is made up of about 15 boys/girls, ranging in age from 5-18, who play their home games at the Flyers Skate Zone in Northeast Philadelphia. We are part of the Delaware Valley Hockey League and play teams from all over the tri-state area.

We are creating a Year Book to help raise funds to offset expenses of ice time for our games and tournaments as well as purchasing equipment. Please take a moment to consider supporting our efforts by advertising in our yearbook.

Our Year Book is an 8.5" x 11" booklet, with photos, rosters and schedules from each of our eleven teams, as well as information about our organization. The remaining pages are mixed in between the team pages consisting of sponsor and patron advertising from businesses like yours. 25% of each ad will cover the cost of producing the Year Book, and the remaining funds will be applied directly to the individual

We will produce approximately 500 Year Books. Roughly 220 will be given directly to our players and their families. The remaining Year Books will be dispersed at the Flyers Skate Zone in Northeast Philadelphia. This will allow the public to have access to them while attending one of the 185 home games the Blazers teams play at the Skate Zone, as well as the many other events which take place there

We invite you to contribute to our Year Book and help build a fun and spirited season for our organization. Attached are two forms for you to use in your efforts to find sponsors for our Year Book. Click the link next to the word Handout to download these documents that you can print yourself and use in your efforts. Included in these handouts are the sizes and prices of the various sponsorship options along with the actual order form as well.

Remember that 75% of the money your raise through sponsorships in this Year Book goes directly to support YOUR player! Sponsorships are credited on a first come, first served basis and all order forms (including artwork) must be submitted to your team manager no later than November 26th. Finished Year Books will be delivered by the second week of January.

The St. Barnabas Health Systems, Discovering Youth Sportsmanship Program is now due. Your team managers will distribute the Blazers team code required for registration via email.

Every Blazer family MUST complete this program as it is MANDATORY for the Delaware Valley Hockey League. Please turn in your Completion Certificate to your team manager as soon as possible. Your manager will then forward the team's set of certificates to the Club Registrar prior to the September 1st DVHL deadline. If you do not turn in the certificate by the deadline, your player(s)will not be able to participate in any ice practices and/or games.

If you have a copy of your certificate from last year, you can turn in that copy and you will not have to retake the program.
